Whole-Body Support Through Bowen

Above all, Bowen therapy offers an incredible sense of relaxation—many clients describe a deeply calming, almost sedative feeling during treatment. But its impact extends far beyond rest. Each gentle move targets the fascia, muscular pathways and both the motor and autonomic nervous systems, prompting the body to respond and rebalance naturally.

This holistic action means no system is left untouched. Clients have experienced support for respiratory concerns such as breathing difficulties, asthma, chest infections and even sprung ribs. It can also assist with digestive and urinary issues, including colitis, IBS, Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis, constipation, and gallbladder or bladder imbalances.

In the ENT area, Bowen may provide relief from sinus congestion, tonsillitis, blocked tear ducts, floaters, teeth grinding and jaw misalignment. Neurologically, it can help regulate the nervous system—supporting people through anxiety, depression, panic attacks, OCD, grief, autism and ADHD diagnoses.

Bowen is also effective in post-trauma care following falls or car accidents, addressing symptoms like whiplash, migraines and shock. For physical strain, it can support healing from sports and workplace injuries such as frozen shoulders, tendon tears, RSI, tennis elbow and knee injuries.

Common musculoskeletal issues we treat include lower back pain, bulging discs, sciatica, scoliosis, coccyx pain, and nerve-related numbness or tingling.

For those managing long-term conditions, Bowen has provided support for epilepsy, chronic fatigue, Ross River Fever, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, arthritis and stroke recovery—offering a gentle, integrated approach to improving daily comfort and function.

“As a nurse, I was passionate about helping others to overcome pain and illness, to alleviate their suffering, to leave the hospital environment healthy and happy, now as a Bowen Therapist that passion continues with an excitement that help is only as far away as a Bowen treatment.

For years I sort multiple modalities for help of my severe lower back pain and migraines, things I had endured for more than 35 years constantly attending appointments but with very little relief. After my first Bowen treatment, I was finally pain free.

As like most Bowen therapists my first experience as a client impacted me to such an extent that I was motivated to learn this amazing modality which resulted in me becoming a Bowen practitioner.”

10 years in Hospitality - Qualified Chef

Continues to further knowledge by attending workshops conducted by leading national and internationally accredited Bowen Therapy instructors from Bulgaria and Australia.

“After 10 years in hospitality serving others, my passion has now shifted to serving people in a completely different capacity. I love seeing people leaving our clinic after having their pain relieved, their mobility restored and their general well-being reinvigorated. Being able to be a part of someone’s health and well-being journey makes me feel as though I am serving and making a difference in people’s lives.

After many years working as a Chef, standing on hard floors in kitchens and having to seek help for my own skeletal/muscular problems, I found Bowen Therapy to be significantly different to other modalities - it allowed a feeling of comfort due to it being a treatment that allows for leaving light clothing on during treatment. What excited me about Bowen Therapy was that it addressed my issues quickly. I was so impressed with my results that I made appointments for my children and we have never looked back.

Initially I was curious with Bowen Therapy and my interest continued to grow. It was not long before I made the decision to study the Bowen technique so that I was in a position to help clients receive the amazing benefits of this unique healing modality.”
